Terms of use
The rules for using GST Practice Lab. Written to describe what this product actually does, rather than copied from a template — so it is short, and there is nothing in it we do not do.

1. What this is
GST Practice Lab is a training simulator for Indian GST and income tax compliance. You practise on invented businesses and invented documents.
It is not connected to the GST portal, the income tax portal, or any government system. Nothing you do here is filed with any department. The GSTIN allotted at the end of the registration module is fictional and belongs to a made-up company. Marks, scores and the practice certificate inside the registration module are course content, not credentials, and carry no legal or professional standing.
Nothing here is tax advice. Rates, slabs, thresholds and section references are stated as of a date shown on the page and may be out of date by the time you read them. For a real return, consult a qualified practitioner.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. There is no password. One account is for one person: do not share your sign-in code, and do not let anyone else use your access window. We may close an account that is shared.
You must give a real email address you control, because it is the only way back into your account and the only way we can reach you.
3. Access is a window, not a purchase
Paying opens an access window with a start date and an end date. It is not a lifetime licence and it does not renew. When the window closes, the modules stop opening; your attempts, scores and mistake notebook are kept, so if the window is extended or re-opened, everything is where you left it.
The administrator who runs your course can extend, pause, resume or revoke a window at any time — for example, to pause it over a holiday, or to revoke it if these terms are broken. Revocation for a reason other than a breach is dealt with in the refund policy.
4. Paying
Payment is by UPI. You pay, then paste the transaction reference, and a human verifies it against the account before opening your window — usually the same day. There is no card, no payment gateway and no subscription.
Because verification is manual, a payment can be rejected — most often because the reference does not match, or the amount is wrong. You will be told the reason and can submit again.
5. What you may not do
- Copy, republish or resell the case studies, source documents, concept cards or any other content. They were written for this course and are its whole value.
- Circulate answer keys. Scores mean nothing if the answers are in a group chat, and it is the students who did the work who lose.
- Attempt to read data that is not yours — other students' work, the answer key, or anything else behind the database's access rules — or probe the service for weaknesses without permission.
- Automate or script the product, or resell access to it.
6. Availability
This is a small product run at low cost. It is provided as is, without a guaranteed uptime. We will not deliberately take it down during an access window, and if an outage costs you a meaningful part of your window, ask us and we will extend it.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid for your current access window. In particular we are not liable for any loss arising from relying on this simulator as though it were tax advice — see section 1.
8. Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. If a change materially affects an access window you have already paid for, we will tell you.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
10. Contact
A support address has not been published yet. Until it is, contact the teacher or the institution that gave you access to this course — they administer your account and can reach us.
