Refunds
When GST Practice Lab gives money back, when it does not, and how long it takes. Payment here is by UPI and verified by a person, so most of this is about what happens when that verification goes wrong.

Your payment was rejected
A submission is rejected when the transaction reference cannot be matched, the amount is wrong, or the same reference has already been used. What happens next depends on whether the money actually reached us:
- It never arrived. There is nothing to refund — the payment did not go through. Check your UPI app, and submit again with the correct reference.
- It arrived, but the submission was rejected anyway (a typo in the reference, a payment from a family member's UPI, the wrong amount). Tell us, and we will either open your access window or refund you in full. You will never be out of pocket for a clerical mismatch.
You are always told the reason a submission was rejected, and you can submit again.
You changed your mind
Full refund within 7 days of your window opening, as long as you have not opened a module. Sign in, look around, decide it is not for you, ask — and you get everything back.
Once you have opened a module, there is no refund. That is not meanness: the entire course — every case study, every source document, every concept card — is delivered the moment your window opens, and it cannot be handed back. You keep access for the rest of your window.
You paid twice
Duplicate payments for the same window are refunded in full, every time. Tell us the two transaction references.
We revoked your access
- Because these terms were broken — a shared account, circulated answer keys, probing other students' data: no refund. See the terms of use.
- For any other reason — we stop running the course, a batch is cancelled, an administrative decision: a pro-rata refund for the days of your window that are left.
We were down
If an outage costs you a meaningful part of your window, we extend the window rather than refund it. If you would rather have the money back instead, ask.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Contact us with the email address you signed in with and the UPI transaction reference. We will tell you within 3 working days whether the refund is due, and pay it within 7 working days of that.
Refunds go back to the UPI account the payment came from. We cannot send a refund anywhere else — it is the only way we can be sure the money reaches the person who paid.
Contact
A support address has not been published yet. Until it is, contact the teacher or the institution that gave you access to this course — they administer your account and can reach us.
This is a training simulator. It is not connected to the GST portal or the income tax portal, nothing submitted here is filed with any department, and nothing on this site is tax advice.
